The Karnataka State
Bioenergy Development Board has planned a plantation programme to promote
cultivation of bioenergy plants in Belagavi district.
·
Around 5.60 lakh saplings
would be planted all over the district during this financial year 2016-17.
·
The government had
planned to plant one crore saplings from July 2 to July 10 in the State.
